Medjugorje – Hope for the Future

God will not abandon those who now, during the time of invitation, will respond. We have been given a great light, more than a ray of hope – something on which to cling while hell ravages all the earth in order to devastate hell’s kingdom through peace. For our security, Our Lady of Medjugorje is inviting us to protect ourselves in the future by praying and responding “now,” “today.” As satan builds and brings about his kingdom, Our Lady builds Hers.

December 25, 1992

“…today I wish to place you all under My mantle to protect you from every satanic attack…I call you to build up a new world of Peace together with me by means of prayer…”
 

It is a great comfort to us and for our future that those who will respond and become Her children will build up a world of peace in the midst of the burning fire of hell. Some may think everything is so bad and so despairing! Is it not Our Lady who says, over and over?

“…I call you to pray for peace…, …for peace in your hearts…, …peace in your families…, and …peace in the whole world…”

And again on November 25, 1992

“…Dear children, the fact of my being with you is a grace! Therefore, accept and live my messages for your own good…”

And again on July 25, 1992

“…Thank God for the gift of my being with you because I am telling you: this is a great grace…”
 

Still again on August 25, 1992, She said:

“…I call upon you to open yourselves completely to me, so that through each of you I may be enabled to convert and save the world…”

Again on July 25, 1990:

“…I invite you to become carriers and witnesses of my peace to this unpeaceful world. Let peace rule in the whole world which is without peace and longs for peace…”

The village of Medjugorje, viewed from the top of Cross Mountain. This is the village that Heaven has chosen to send our Heavenly Mother everyday for the past 28 years. Let us pray for the grace to accept Our Lady and Her messages in our daily lives during this special time of grace in which God has granted to the world to give us hope for our future.

And on September 25, 1992:

“…I am with you also in these restless days in which satan wishes to destroy everything which I and My Son, Jesus, are building up…”

And on August 25, 1990, Our Lady said:

“…these messages which I am giving you have to be put into your everyday life in order that you might be able to say, ‘There I have taken the messages and tried to live them.’ Dear children, I am protecting you before the Heavenly Father…”

For us, there is so much hope, so many reasons to have a strong faith, so many reasons for which to live and serve God. Our lives are focused on living peace and we experience that daily. Hell no longer harms us even if it is next to us. By abandoning our futures to Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje, how much more hope do we need. In 1986, She said:

“If you would abandon yourselves to Me you will not even feel the passage from this life to the next. You will begin to live the life of Heaven on earth.”

One of the many beautiful sunsets in Medjugorje witnessed by a multitude of pilgrims who come to Medjugorje seeking peace and hope in a peaceless world. The beauty of this sunset speaks to the world of the loving presence of God, the Creator.

We end with the positive attitude Our Lady gave us on August 1984, for the future.

“…For a Christian, there is only one attitude toward the future. It is hope of salvation…”

Hope is trust. Our Lady says:

May 25, 1994

“Dear children, I invite you all to have more trust in Me and to live My messages more deeply. I am with you and I intercede before God for you, but also I wait for your hearts to open up to My messages. Rejoice because God loves you and gives you the possibility to convert every day and to believe more in God, the Creator. Thank you for having responded to My call.”

Who could want a more secure future in which to deposit our soul? Accept the invitation to invest, not our life’s saving but our life. Our Lady will be our best security for the future.
