Wrestling Souls

Wrestling Souls

We are being employed at a task.

June 1, 2016 A.D.

Our Lady calls us to be Her extended hands. She said on November 25, 2009:

“…Little children, be my extended hands, hands of love for all those who have become lost, who have no more faith and hope…”

To be an extended hand means to be employed working at a task.

Medjugorje Vicka praying over Caritas Pilgrim

Medjugorje visionary Vicka laying hands on a Caritas pilgrim in 1988. This pilgrim, Sam, was not going to church. Sam made every excuse not to go to church so that he could place his bets in gambling. Sam came to Medjugorje with Caritas accompanying his family. This was the pilgrimage that ABC 20/20 followed the Caritas group. During this pilgrimage, Vicka prayed with the Caritas group and laid her hands on Sam’s head. Sam said that at that moment, he felt a heat go through his entire body. Narrating the ABC documentary, Stone Phillips commented, “For Sam, the man who once avoided church at all costs, it became deeply moving spiritual experience.” Sam left the darkness of his life and came to the light of God. He left Medjugorje, a changed man.

Our Lady’s call for us to be Her extended hands is not for our glory, but for the purpose of bringing souls to God. There will be struggles in wrestling souls for God. Our Lady said on August 2, 1981:

“…A great struggle is about to unfold. A struggle between my Son and satan. Human souls are at stake…”

A Friend of Medjugorje writes:

“…Our Lady says we are Her extended hands, and we can definitely assume that satan has his extended hands. We, therefore, can conclude “the light” comes from those whose hands are given to Our Lady, who struggle, a great struggle, for Jesus, and “the darkness” comes from those hands who struggle for satan. Each trying to win over the other to their will, Jesus’ or satan’s. Thereby, souls are at stake according to whose will is imposed upon society…”1

It is for us, Our Lady’s extended hands to wrestle souls to God by prayer and love and resist every avenue that darkness imposes its will on us and on those souls. Be strong for God.
