Our Lady gives simple solutions. A Friend of Medjugorje often says that Our Lady’s solutions are so simple, that they are often overlooked by the intelligentsia. Man often expects complicated answers.

Pilgrims on Cross Mountain

Pilgrims in Medjugorje pour out their hearts on Cross Mountain. In prayer we find the true rest and peace.

The book store shelves are filled with self-help books, self-esteem books, and a myraid of other opinions to problems that people face. But, Our Lady tells us that in prayer, is where we will find rest and peace for our soul and our body. Our Lady said on July 25, 2008:

“…Pray and work so that your heart yearns for God the Creator who is the true rest of your soul and your body…”

Medjugorje visionary Ivan said:

“…Mother comes from the King of Peace. Who can know better than a mother how much peace is needed for this tired world today? How much peace is needed for this world that has lost hope, for this world that is full of restlessness. There is unrest in the families. Young people are in unrest as well. There is restlessness within the Church. And Mother, She comes as the Mother of the Church…”1

We give it many names like anxiety, but it is unrest. Unrest is caused by unpeace in the heart. Unpeace is a fruit of being disconnected from God. Our Lady gives an understanding by saying on February 25, 1991:

“…God is peace itself…”

Return to God then, confess, return to prayer.

Our Lady also said to “work.” Work on what? Work on that which brings one closer to “God the Creator.” Each one knows in their heart the meaning of those words. Yesterday’s Christian Worldview, Work and Prayer, Labor and Reliance, as well as yesterday’s Mejanomics broadcast, Our Lady Can Do What Jesus Christ Cannot, are more help to understanding the meaning of the words, “God the Creator.” If your life is tired, evaluate the reason for the tiredness. It is caused by unrest. Find the source, pray and work, so that you be close to God the Creator who is the true rest of your soul and your body.
