The following was originally published on September 20, 2010. We present this again to you, as it is a vivid reflection of what Our Lady said on July 25, “harvesting souls.” Though Our Lady’s words on July 25, 2020, speak of the devil, this reflection of a wholesome life, shows the contrast between the two. The devil is harvesting, but, how does one preserve oneself for God’s harvest? A Friend of Medjugorje explained this many years ago, and it requires that we live a life blessed by God. His words are a witness to this…

The grape rows and grape bunches as pictured below just a few days ago (September 2010), are almost ready for harvest in the next coming days. As you look at these pictures, and ponder the internal joy that harvest brings, we would like for you to meditate on these few thoughts from a Friend of Medjugorje:

“We have had an overflowing cup of God’s future plans being revealed through Our Lady’s messages of Medjugorje. For us, in community, we can see the new life Our Lady is bringing us toward. Adam was told by God to cultivate and to care for the Garden of Eden, to plant seeds of every seed-bearing plant. After he sinned, God still held him to the ground and said, “By the sweat of your brow, you shall eat.” Farming is the only occupation ordained directly by God. Any place known as the country, as it advances toward birthing a city, takes man further and further from the grip of the land. By doing so, he relies more and more upon man to sustain him. God can become more remote…

“Our Lady calls us to live a life more simple. When we surround ourselves closer to God’s creation, we are refreshed, as opposed to being dragged down with the city’s burdens, its enticements and what the city demands. Our Lady calls us to open up to God.

May 25, 1989

“Dear children, I am calling you to openness to God. You see, little children, how nature is opening herself and is giving life and fruits. In the same way I am calling you to a life with God and a complete surrender to Him. Little children, I am with you and unceasingly I desire to lead you into the joy of life…”

“People, away from the errors of the city, experience more joy, the joy of life.

Adam was connected to the ground by God’s command. Is it, therefore, not logical that the man who is close to the soil will see and meet God in a more profound way? Why should it be otherwise?

What do these rows of grapes tell us? Do they speak to us about the future? Re-read the above paragraphs and meditate on what God desires to tell us.

The above caption was written on September 20, 2010. Looking at how in 2010, we shared that a Friend of Medjugorje’s words told of the future, now almost 10 years later we see the contrast between Our Lady’s words of July 25, 2020, “the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself,” and how God not only harvests, but readies His harvest.

The fruit of the labor of man, blessed by God. The grape harvest is a time to meditate on God’s providence in caring for man. Man in collaboration with God, by the sweat of his brow, God in collaboration with man, by His blessing.

Again, borrowing from a Friend of Medugorje’s words, the above caption was also written in September 2010. If satan harvests, as Our Lady said on July 25, 2020, then is it with providence and a blessing like a Friend of Medjugorje reveals about God? Or is it with abandonment and a curse? Many people today are in fact living this very thing of abandonment and curse. We encourage you to download the book below to break from that path and begin a new one.

As Go God’s People, So Goes the World

Did you know that this short book was revolutionary in the Medjugorje world? Written in 1999, a Friend of Medjugorje shared a “pre-vision of the Corona Vision,” and it sent shockwaves in the whole Medjugorje world. Still considered to be one of the most classic short books which a Friend of Medjugorje has ever written, this short book is available as a free download here, or by ordering online.
