In our reading of Our Lady’s words as simple, do we miss the greatness of what She is saying?
October 5, 2017 – A Cross is formed by clouds and airplane contrails above St. James Church in Medjugorje. Small signs like this, though with natural explanations, are often given in Medjugorje as a means of strengthening our faith.
When we read Our Lady’s words, in their simplicity, do we make them simplistic? Do we see the greatness of what She is really saying?
A Friend of Medjugorje often says that Our Lady, in Her wisdom, is able to speak something negative in a positive way, or to say great things, hidden in simple words. To the prayerful, obedient hearts, Our Lady’s words are profound; to the clever and learned, they are often overlooked. But God is not revealing them to the clever and learned, He is revealing them to the “little children” the “dear children” of Our Lady. So many signs have been given us in this time which is Our Lady’s. Are we missing the signs?

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, This cross sign in the sky is indeed a signature of our Lord and this gives hope for opened hearts. Almost every day I walk around Lemay park to admire the beauty of God’s creation while meditating the Rosary. Each time I pass to the small beach and I leave a sign in the sand for others! I trace a cross over the sand big enough so people can see it if they pass close. Sometimes I write the name “Sainte Vierge Marie”. Sometimes other inspiring text. I feel so much joy doing this. Last years while walking there and praying I had left a Cross on the beach somewhere. An unknown woman on her bike looked at me strangely, she then came back towards me and she said to me – ” Something strong shines in your face, your eyes and I feel God around you and peace… I had to tell you.” I reply “I have just finish my Rosary”. She said “Alleluia” and she left. My legs felt very weak after that. Then in a moment she was gone. Leave signs to! Pray for me!
