Many Medjugorje followers remember exactly where they were on March 18, 2020, when they learned that Our Lady would no longer appear to Mirjana on the second of the month. The news was an even bigger shock since we were just entering into a coronavirus world. As we approach this significant date barely a month away, we share the important and prophetic words from a Friend of Medjugorje, spoken on March 18, 2020:

Something in the future is going to happen on March 18th. Many of you know this. Mirjana’s birthday is March 18th, but Our Lady did not pick this date because it is Mirjana’s birthday. Our Lady has never given Mirjana a “Happy Birthday” salutation. While visionary, Marija, on the other hand, has been told “Happy Birthday” by Our Lady. Why not then to Mirjana? Because the date of March 18th holds great significance in the future, unrelated to Mirjana’s birthday, and it is for that reason that Our Lady chose March 18th to appear to her. What year is the future event on March 18th going to happen? It is known only to Mirjana. But, see what Our Lady has done by ending the second of the month apparitions on March 18th [2020]. The Woman of Wisdom, the Woman of Revelation, Our Lady has made a clean slate all the way through, for the next twelve months, until we come to the next March 18th [in 2021].

Why did Our Lady do this on March 18?

Along with the shock of hearing that Our Lady’s second of the month apparitions to Mirjana were over, was the overall question in everyone’s mind - why? This was evident because of tens of thousands who listened in to hear what a Friend of Medjugorje would have to say about it. Here is how he answered the question, “why?”:

Let me give you a big revelation. Our Lady wants the next March 18th apparition [2021] to Mirjana to be anticipated. She has given us a hint by Her actions today, because we know one future March 18th, something big is going to happen.

So, here, we have a runway. Everything has been cleared off. Nothing will be happening for a whole year with Mirjana. But once we start approaching the year 2021, the fortieth anniversary year of the apparitions, Mirjana’s annual March 18th apparition will have greater significance and WILL BE ANTICIPATED WITH GREATER ATTENTION. Does that not say something to you? This announcement of Our Lady is a big sign. The coronavirus is a big sign. The fact that the two coincided with each other is a big sign.
