2 Corinthians 3:17
Spirit-filled days - this is the best description of the 3rd "How To" New Communities Convention taking place at Caritas. A Friend of Medjugorje was inspired through Our Lady's messages to help bring about a means for like-minded people to come together for learning and sharing. Though we will give an update after the Convention, this is a small update for those who are following along in prayer from their homes.

Each of the presenters at the "How To" Convention taking place at Caritas, bring a wealth of experience and wisdom. Here Sheriff Richard Mack is giving a demonstration of interposition - the principle that when a citizen's liberty is threatened by a criminal or tyrannical government, someone (like a Sheriff) will stand in the way to protect the individual citizen, something that is rarely seen today.
And why is this principle rarely seen? A Friend of Medjugorje tells us that "a people are not so much protected by their armaments, as they are by their way of life." The continual loss of liberty in our nation and throughout the world is a result of our not living a Godly way of life. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on January 2, 2011:
When Christians become cognizant of their sin, it is the beginnings of liberty. When Christian principles are restored through individual conversion and repentance, then families change and the nation changes. The focus of much of this Convention has been on individual repentance - from there, the restoration of liberty is a gift that God will grant.

Thus, with repentance, the Spirit of the Lord will dwell with us again as a people and nation. When the Spirit of the Lord dwells, then we will see the restoration of liberty.
