Our Lady of Medjugorje said through Marija, just a few days ago on April 25, 2019:

“…This is a time of grace, a time of mercy for each of you…”

Making people aware of this time of grace, is a major part of the Caritas mission.

Pilgrims walking in the rain in Medjugorje April 29, 2019

Pilgrims walk in the rain, on one of the old streets in Medjugorje, yesterday, April 29, 2019. Medjugorje is not a “fair weather” place. One will only get out of their pilgrimage, what they put into it, even treking out into the rain.

Our Lady said on April 25, 2019, that this is a time of grace. A Friend of Medjugorje has spoken and written about this time of grace for many years, spanning back to the time when he started Caritas in 1986, when few were interested in or many lost interest in Our Lady’s messages. To those who are now getting involved with Medjugorje, this may come as a shock, because you live now in a Medjugorje world where the messages have gained primary importance. However, at the time that a Friend of Medjugorje started Caritas, people were caught up in the miracles, the conversion stories, but not the messages. A Friend of Medjugorje was alone in allowing himself to be “caught up” in the messages of Our Lady, making them his life. This is what the Caritas Community witnesses to in our Mission House in Medjugorje - awakening people to this time of grace in which we live, as shown in Our Lady’s messages. This is why the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje has become known as “The Message Place”.  In a recent fax, a Caritas Community member wrote about the first day this season we were open, just a few days ago:

Sunday April 28, 2019

“…we opened it, so far on Saturday for the first time, but as soon as the doors opened, a steady stream of people were coming all afternoon, many of them Croatian. People were just waiting for the doors to open…”

Steady streams of people starving for the messages, this is a scene we will hear about all year long while the Caritas Mission House is open. The Caritas Medjugorje pilgrimage group also arrives today in Medjugorje. Remember them in prayer, and “remember” to answer the call that Our Lady has placed in your heart to visit Her Holy Village in Medjugorje.
