Recently, someone wrote to us asking:

February 4, 2017

“Why is the number 7 important in the 7’s prayers?”

Bolton Landing, NY

This question is referring to the seven Our Fathers, Hail Mary’s and Glory Be’s that Our Lady in Medjugorje asked us to pray. Here are just a few thoughts presented, knowing that in the future we will know even more about this.

Seven is considered the number of perfection.

There are seven days of the week. Is it possible that Our Lady is covering every day with these prayers?

Back in 2007, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote a very compelling piece that was written on the occasion of July 7, 2007, otherwise abbreviated, 7, 7, 7, a date which would not be seen for another 1,000 years. Here are just a few significant points he shared with us:

“7 is a significant number in Biblical History

666 = Darkness VS. 777 = Light

Our Lady Speaks of Darkness VS Light.

August 2, 1981

“…A great struggle is about to unfold. A struggle between my Son and satan. Human souls are at stake.”

Our Lady wants us to see things in a Biblical worldview. 7-7-7 is yet another indication that God wants to save us and to speak to us.

March 25, 1990

“…God wants to save you and sends you messages through men, nature, and so many things which can only help you to understand that you must change the direction of your life…”1

There are many other things, which can be brought to light, and many more that will be revealed in the future. A Friend of Medjugorje tells us that Our Lady has been sent to intervene in the history of man, to change its direction and that, no doubt, this time is a time of an antichrist system, the 666. Our Lady is defeating this antichrist time with the perfection of the 777. Just look at the world around and see the tremors of evil that are rising everyday to make their voices heard, to stomp their feet and thrash against the incoming time of light,  and the departing time of darkness. Seven is significant, more than significant, it is a sign, a sign of hope that Our Lady just told us on February 2, 2017:

“…There is hope…”
