Today Our Lady appeared to Ivan at the Blue Cross during his prayer group. Pilgrims started arriving at the Blue Cross before 6:00 p.m. and continued to arrive up until apparition time. Small groups of pilgrims of different languages found quiet spots nearby and prayed and sang in their own language until the prayer group began singing around 8:30 p.m. There was singing for the next hour, until 9:30 p.m. when Ivan announced that we would be praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary in preparation for Our Lady coming. Our Lady appeared to Ivan at a little after 10:00 p.m. and the apparition lasted around 8 minutes. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition:
“Also today Our Lady came to us happy and joyful. At the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ After that She extended Her arms and prayed over all of us for a while. She then said:
Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. I also recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, and your families, and especially the sick. After that Our Lady continued to pray for peace for a while and then left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”

Medjugorje is a constant ebb and flow of pilgrims, new pilgrims coming in while others flow out beginning the journey back to their homes around the world. Tonight, in Medjugorje, pilgrims began gathering in the early evening at the Blue Cross to await Our Lady who would appear during Ivan’s prayer group apparition. Our Lady gives peace in the heart to those who seek it in Medjugorje. Every person who receives it understands, in varying degrees, that to keep that peace, one must make a decision for daily conversion, putting Our Lady’s messages into their daily lives. Once peace is established in a heart, it is possible to begin the process of establishing peace in the family. Peace then begins to spread throughout the world, one family at a time. This is the plan of Our Lady.

“Medjugorje is the main event to which all other apparitions have led. The following are three main reasons why it is said that it is a gross error to think that Medjugorje is just another apparition:
1. Our Lady will give messages in Medjugorje like never before in history.
2. They are the longest and most frequent apparitions ever.
3. They are the last on earth.

A young family stands just below the Blue Cross this evening, moved by the beauty of the evening sky. Think of the expense this family sacrificed to come to Medjugorje. For the cost of this pilgrimage, they could have gone anywhere for a nice family vacation filled with entertainment and relaxation. Yet, it was to Medjugorje that they came, seeking eternal wealth for themselves and their children. Our Lady calls them and us all to witness Her love to the world. How are we to do this? A Friend of Medjugorje says:
“We must realize that we exist first to live the message and spread it. We spread it through the authority of having the truth. Giving and spreading authoritative truth comes through the living of the message. We, then, are authentic, real and convicting. You can’t spread something with success if you aren’t living it…You have to live what you say. You have to do what you say. And you have to say what you mean.”

I remember so clearly our visit to Medugorje 14 years ago, as though it were yesterday – the feelings of peace we experienced there were absolutely amazing. It is a small piece of Heaven
Thank you dear Blessed Trinity, Father, Son & Holy Spirit and dear Blessed Mother for sending Mary to visit us on this earth….. to remind us that she is working so hard and praying so hard for us and for peace. I join her in her prayers for peace and thank her and Jesus for saving us from the fires of hell by His crucifixion. We are all sinners, but in spite of that, they still love us. We try to obey the commandments, but sometimes we slip. We are truly sorry when we sin, and ask for forgiveness and help that we may not sin again. Our Lady of Medjugorje has helped me so much. I send a petition whenever there is a problem. Recently my husband got a stroke and was almost paralyzed. He was unable to talk or walk and I sent a petition to Our Lady. Within weeks he was able to talk clearly and walk about using a walking stick. Now after 3 months he has improved a lot. Our Lady of Medjugorje has solved the problems of my family members and friends and healed all those who were sick. I take this opportunity to thank Our Lady for the many favours granted. Phyllis
Our Blessed Lady is the best person to confide in with all our troubles. She is a fantastic intercessor. She loves us with a heavenly love. She is very powerful on our behalf. We should never fear because she is on our side always.
It feels like God has abandoned the world. Wars and rumor of wars, diseases, suffering, hunger, and death are everywhere. I am asking God to answer my doubts in my prayers. The fruits of peace can never be undermined, we thank God for Medjugorje, The Visionaries, and Mother Mary for her love and care. I will try my best to pray, pray, pray, and flee sin and evil as much as possible and tell others about Medjugorje even though in my country Cameroon in Africa we have no groups yet but I will talk about.
