New Language Feature Released Today: Tuesday August 29, 2017, on Medjugorje.com

“Today”

“Today, Dear Children, Today,” the world opens up to Our Lady’s Apostles in a new way, a profound way, to easily bring hoards of conversions and to empower you as Our Lady’s Apostles.

Today, Medjugorje.com enacts what it would not do ten, five, two or even one year ago. A Friend of Medjugorje would not let it happen until now.

Today. What follows has materialized to a reasonable level of quality of which we now feel comfortable to release.

A Friend of Medjugorje guides the Community of Caritas and manages Caritas of Birmingham not to follow what everyone else is doing, but to arrive at turning points through prayer, fasting and sacrifice. He does not want to arrive one second earlier or one second later than the right turning point with the mission of Caritas.

Everything Our Lady did was done well. We are to imitate Her in all things. The popular saying years ago was, “What would Jesus do?” Dear children, today the saying is, “What would Mary do?”

Today, for the whole world, Medjugorje.com is available in over 100 languages, including more obscure languages! Wisdom told a Friend of Medjugorje to delay jumping on the band wagon of computer-generated languages for the last several years.

Today Its Time Has Arrived

The new Mej v3.0 utilizes a system called the “Neural Translation” which is an advanced multi-lingual translating tool.  It translates at a very high level. It thinks like the human brain, rather than translating piece by piece. It uses broad context to help it figure out the most relevant translation. It rearranges the way a man speaks with more proper grammar. This basically means that the system learns over time to create a better, more natural translation.

The “Neural Translation” is the most advanced language translator which can translate languages to a high level of accuracy. There are 9 prominent languages, that cover one third of the worlds’s population, translated with the new “Neural Translation” method.  They are:

English     French     German     Spanish

Portuguese     Chinese     Japanese     Korean     Turkish

As things quickly advance we can now foresee over 100 languages will grow into the “high level” category of the Neural Translator.

The “Con” Side of These Translations

The weakness of these translations is the understanding of some pronouns. For example in a sentence like:

“The car cannot fit in the garage because it’s too big.”

The translator may mis-translate because it may not understand what the “it’s” might be, the car or garage. But, “it” is learning. The next time you come back it may be corrected.

* This translation does not include the messages of Our Lady because of theological issues that may arise from a mis-translated message.

* Downloads and ordered books and other materials are only in English and some Croatian.

Spread this news.  Everyone, even those in America, know people in their parishes, work places and travels that are from other countries. This is your opportunity to introduce them to Medjugorje.

The following sites will also be included in this new translation feature:

BVM Caritas Medjugorje Pilgrimages Site

The Vatican Medjugorje Site

The Medjugorje Billboards Site

Thank you for making it possible!

Below are pictures of the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje, showing how important it is to the Community of Caritas that all can hear Our Lady’s words in their own language.

Following the Mission House pictures is an explanation of the New Translation Feature and how to use this feature.

Caritas Mission House Medjugorje

On the 25th of every month, the 2nd of every month, and after all of Ivan’s Prayer Groups, this is a common scene in the Caritas Mission House. People wait with enthusiasm longing for Our Lady’s message. With our own printing press, we pump the messages out as fast as we can in as many languages as we can. This is why the pilgrims around the world started calling the Caritas Mission House, “The Message Place.”

With his heart always leaning towards the Croatian people, the people Our Lady chose in this time, a Friend of Medjugorje has had hundreds of materials translated into the Croatian language, printed in the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages in Alabama and shipped by container to Medjugorje. Croatians now come to “The Message Place,” knowing what a Friend of Medjugorje has done for them, and leave with their arms and hearts full, and not many dry eyes.

A Friend of Medjugorje knows the importance of Our Lady’s words. He has implemented the production of the “Purple Message Cards,” printed with Our Lady’s messages, which are handed out for free. They have become known around the world. Pilgrims tell fellow pilgrims who tell other pilgrims who tell still more pilgrims and though the members of the Community of Caritas in the Mission House cannot speak all these languages, they know what the word is for “Message,” and even if they didn’t, the people know where to go to get what they want! The Caritas Mission House puts out more messages than all other places in the village combined. Since May of 1996, over 1,000,000 keepsake message cards have been given away for free. If compared to similar Hallmark cards of a lesser value, this would be a dollar value of well over $3,000,000. These beautiful keepsake cards are found in Bibles of bishops, in the Vatican and literally all over the world.

The New Translation Feature: The language translation selector is located in the upper right-hand corner of every page on the site. The yellow arrow in the image below points to the site translation selector, which provides a drop down menu with multiple language options.

Clicking into the translation selector provides a drop down menu, as seen below, from which to select your desired language. The site is now available in 58 languages!

The image below shows the home page translated into the Croatian language. In order to protect the integrity and accuracy of the original English material, a small message pops up at the top of every translated page that contains the following message, as shown in the image below, for the site visitor:

“Please note that this is a translated page and we cannot verify 100% accuracy. This translation page is simply to give you the idea of what is being stated on the page.”

  1. Though I have known about the visions in Medjugorje for nearly 30 years, my parents went there for a Pilgrimage in the 80’s or 90’s, twenty years ago I used to receive your monthly publication but quit one time when I was angered by a writing (silly), and I have been receiving the monthly messages for years, I never understood what Our Lord and Our Lady were doing. I want to thank you for the last incredible 10 days!! I am so excited each day to see what revelation will be given. My life has been changed. I am changed. I think that perhaps your launch is a new language in and of itself…the language of Our Lady of Medjugorje. Finally, after so long, someone as muddled as me has begun to comprehend this great mercy. God willing, I will come to Caritas one day soon. You will all be in my prayers every day!!
